Welcome to F-Use ("we," "us," "our," or "F-Use"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal documents incorporated by reference, govern your use of our services. Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the F-Use platform, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, companies, and those purchasing services on the platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using the platform immediately.
2. Services Provided
F-Use is an online platform designed to assist students in finding jobs, internships, work experience opportunities, and accommodation, while also helping them build professional connections. We offer various services, including but not limited to:
Job Matching: Connecting students with potential employers for full-time, part-time, or freelance positions.
Internships and Work Experience: Facilitating the search for internships, placements, and volunteer opportunities.
Accommodation Search: Helping students find suitable housing options through listings and connections with landlords or property managers.
Professional Networking: Enabling students to build professional relationships and expand their career opportunities.
Additional Services: Resume building, career advice, premium membership features, and more.
Additionally, we provide companies with options to promote their brand, list job opportunities, and access targeted student audiences through various paid packages. F-Use does not guarantee job placement, internship placement, accommodation placement, or employment, and the outcome of any application or inquiry process is beyond our control. All services are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use our services with the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract and that you are legally permitted to use the platform in your country of residence.

4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration - To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. During registration, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information and for updating it promptly if there are any changes. You may not use false information or impersonate another individual when creating an account.
4.2 Account Security - You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account, whether authorised by you or not. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. F-Use is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
4.3 Account Termination - We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account and access to our platform at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms, inactivity, or if we believe your account may compromise the security or integrity of our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. Any data associated with your account may be deleted, and we are not obligated to provide you with a copy of this data.
5. User Content and Data
5.1 Data Storage - We will store your account information, including credentials and application data, for a minimum of 90 days after your last login. After this period, we reserve the right to delete your data unless you instruct us otherwise. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any data you wish to retain.
5.2 Usage of Data - Your data will be used to facilitate job matching, application processes, accommodation searches, and other services offered on the platform. By providing your data, you consent to our use of it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may also use your data for internal research, analytics, and to improve our services. Any use of your data for marketing purposes will be in accordance with your preferences and applicable data protection laws.
5.3 User Content - You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform, such as resumes, cover letters, and other material ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant F-Use a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, distribute, display, and perform such content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving our platform and services. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
5.4 Data Protection - We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws. For more information on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
6. Accommodation Services
6.1 Service Description - F-Use provides a service that helps students search for and find accommodation. We offer listings of available properties and facilitate connections with landlords or property managers. However, F-Use is not a property owner, manager, or agent, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of the listings or the availability of any accommodation. All listings are provided by third parties, and we do not take responsibility for the condition, legality, or suitability of any property.
6.2 User Responsibilities - You are responsible for conducting your own research and due diligence before entering into any rental agreement. This includes verifying the identity of landlords or property managers, the condition of the property, and the terms of the rental agreement. F-Use is not responsible for any issues that may arise during your accommodation search or after you have entered into a rental agreement.
6.3 Legal Compliance - All users and property listers must comply with applicable UK housing laws, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, the Housing Act 2004, and any other relevant legislation. Property listers must ensure that their properties meet all legal requirements, including safety standards, repair obligations, and any applicable licensing requirements. F-Use reserves the right to remove any listings that do not comply with these laws.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright
7.1 Ownership - All content on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and audiovisual material, is the property of F-Use or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by F-Use and its licensors.
7.2 License and Use - F-Use grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the platform or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of the platform or its contents; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
7.3 Restrictions - You may not reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise exploit this platform or any portion of it unless expressly permitted by F-Use in writing. Unauthorised use of any content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
8. Services for Companies
8.1 Service Description - F-Use offers companies the ability to promote their brand, list job opportunities, and reach targeted student audiences through various service packages. These services may include job postings, featured listings, banner advertisements, and other promotional activities. The specific services and pricing will depend on the package selected.
8.2 Service Packages and Fees - We offer several service packages tailored to different needs:
Basic Package: Free or low-cost job listings with limited visibility.
Standard Package: Paid job listings with enhanced visibility and additional features.
Premium Package: Includes all features of the Standard Package plus featured listings, company profiles, and additional promotional opportunities.
All fees are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are subject to change at our discretion. The applicable fees for each package will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.
8.3 Payment Terms - Companies agree to provide accurate and complete payment information when purchasing any paid services. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method. If payment cannot be processed due to insufficient funds, expired payment methods, or any other reason, we may suspend or terminate your access to the paid services. You are responsible for any fees or charges incurred as a result of failed or delayed payments.
8.4 Refund Policy - Refund policies for companies are as follows:
Service Packages: Refunds for service packages will only be issued if the service has not been commenced or if the service was not provided as described. Requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of purchase.
Event Sponsorships: Refunds for event sponsorships will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the specific terms of the sponsorship agreement.
Refunds will not be issued for any services where the deliverables (e.g., job listings, banner ads) have already been executed.
8.5 Subscription Services - Some services may be offered on a subscription basis. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel them before the renewal date. The renewal will be for the same duration and at the same price as the initial subscription unless otherwise notified. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
8.6 Compliance with Laws - All job listings and promotional content must comply with applicable UK employment laws, including the Equality Act 2010, the Employment Rights Act 1996, and any other relevant legislation. Companies are responsible for ensuring that their listings and promotions do not discriminate based on race, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
9. No Guarantee of Employment, Internships, or Accommodation
F-Use does not guarantee that you will find employment, internships, or accommodation through our platform. While we provide tools and services to assist in the search process, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcomes. The responsibility for evaluating job opportunities, accommodation listings, making applications, and securing employment, internships, or accommodation lies solely with you. We are not responsible for the actions, decisions, or omissions of employers, landlords, or other third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, F-Use, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform; (iii) any content obtained from the platform; and (iv) unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the platform after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
